"your silly automatic is for girls..." that's a little more politically correct way of saying unlike the one night some old timer stopped by my garage and said...![]()
Bahahahaha
So Vince came over again on one of my extremely rare Mondays in Southern Ontario and some progress was made. We did the drivers side inner first as it was a little trickier due to the fuel fill lines but it came out really good in the end. Despite a less than ideal welding setup, Vince made it work. Big thanks again brother!
The front of the wheel well still needs to be closed in and some seam sealer and rocker guard sprayed on, but it's already a huge improvement over the gaping hole from the day before
The passenger side will go much easier, with far less crap in the way lol.

Time to bring this thread up to speed. Truck has been at Crewfab for a month and a bit with a pile of steel. Here's the results!
Important to note, a huge thanks goes out to Jacob at Crewfab and Tim at TMR. Jacob cracked the rear end open to fix a leaking seal and found a wrecked ring gear. Not normally an insurmountable obstacle except for the fact that I am out west for work with cell reception equivalent to what you'd expect to have in a concrete bunker. These two worked together with limited input from me to order, deliver and install the new r and p before I get home. A huge shoutout to both and many thanks for the above and beyond level of customer service.
bring it to my shop i will gladly start throwing parts at it![]()

Unless you're gonna throw ori's and a 5.3 vortec at it I can't see it being worth the drive![]()
I think I'll pass, not to hard to find a low mileage truck that a youngster wrapped around a pole... but realistically, I'm done modifing for a while... time to enjoy the damn thing.
I dig the lines of that front bumper. Don't forget to use the camera when you go for a rip.

Agreed^ I love what Jacob did with the front bumper! I gave him a very basic outline of what I wanted and he slammed it out of the park. Pics and vid will definitely be in abundance once I get back!
I hate being the guy to say this but.... the cage needs more trianglation. What would stop or resist the cage folding during a side roll? it looks good, and the A piller's rock, but I'd add an X on the b hoop and C hoop.
