Ok so update after the holiday season..

After putting the motor in and out several times i finally got the mounts tack welded in....

After some late nights looking at wiring harnesses and diagrams and some help from overkill the harness is also done jus need to pre fit and the loom it... oh and i also found a thread of a guy thats done the same exact swap i am doing. So i found some good stuff in there.....

As well i got the new tub off the frame and the upper control arm mounts cut off and ground down... well now it's time for some frame repair that was not expected but will get done soon....

So after returning home from jk101 i noticed that my frame was in really bad shape as was my tub. As a result i am currently in a complete tear down and re-build of my 98 tj.

So my plans are:

Frame and tub replacement
5.2ltr v8 motor swap
Minor body lift
Long arm lift kit upgrade
Lockrite locker fer the d30
Locker or repair trackloc fer the d44
Adding some roll cage bars
On board air system

Possible upgrades if i get the time and money:
Sleve or truss a hpd30 fer install
Truss d44
Tube fenders and rock rails
Front and rear bumpers

Lots more is planned but not during this initial build... they will come at a later date..

OK I can save you a whole lot of work and do it much faster in 5 easy steps
1. open hood on jeep
2. remove rad cap
3. replace jeep
4 install new rad cap
5 close hood!
Because that is what is sounds to me like your doing!

After a few busy weeks i got alot more done to the jeep... the frame is all repaired and ready fer longarms.... also got the tub fixed up back home and sitting on the frame all bolted up.....sorry no pics of the tub on frame yet....
