    Intake Manifold Gaskets

    Hi Everybody!
    Im relatively new to JeepKings...
I've got an '07 JK with 130,000 kms on her. Mechanic says the Intake Manifold Gaskets are gone which explains why I'm leaking coolant.
Anyone in the Brantford, ON area ever done this?
I don't really wanna fork over the $600 the mechanic wants to fix it!

I guess cuz most of us are backyard mechanics it seems a lot.
Given the age of the vehicle and as you guys have stated, parts and labour, it is probably a decent price.

Most shops are from $80-$100+ if you go to the dealer an hr for labour and i would figure a couple to a few hrs plus parts and tax.
But Ya I agree with gnomeo when you can do most stuff yourself it seems crazy to pay that much.
Hell when I hear of some ppl getting a complete brake job and paying $1000-$1500 I cringe.
