Had to do a little fender repair after a long day wheeling, The Rock, Beaver Dam, Anson Lake and Scotch line last, this way the under carriage would get a good wash. lol Was a hell of a day! SO had to give her some ziptie stitches!
Glad to see you found beaver dam

Hey he said it not me.
There Must have been a time when we could have said no.
Jesus, no update in 2 years. I have been slacking!
So, Lets see if I remember everything since the last post.
PSC Big bore steering box.
Had the warn winch wired to inside the cab.
additional fuze box added under the hood.
dirtylife bead locks.
Power tank and valves
heads up display unit
Roll cage
and I just purchased a 5.5 MC gamechanger lift. In the process of installing.
Well much goodness happening.
Pulled the case, found the leak, fixed that.
Tore down the 8274 for some much needed rebuild work, order the lower rebuild kit and brake rebuild kit. That is in process. Put the DS new floor pan in. Still waiting for my axle to come back, it is getting straightened. It was wierd, I somehow had managed to bend the tubes down. It would appear the rosebud welds cracked and then??? Anyway getting that fixed and welded, replace the ball joints under warranty and adding RCV's.![]()
atta boy timmy!

So I installed the rear portion of the Metal Cloak 5.5" Game changer lift. FAWK is it high. It has 15" clearance from the top of the tire to the fender. The top of the rear bumper was at 32" with the old system, with the lift installed. 38" So after much thought, I decided to order the 3.5" coils from Metalcloak. They gave me 10%, plus shipped as a warranty- so no taxes at the border. So I have all the flex of the 5.5, with a 3.5" lift. This should be interesting once I get the front end installed. Still waiting on the axle to come back from repair.

So I loaded up on a bunch of build parts from TMR- replaced my TRE and cartridge. Also bought the wrench, dam does that make it a lot easier. Also picked up the rad and an Adams rear drive shaft.
This thing is going to be completely rebuilt and ready for MOAB in the Fall of 2023!
FYI Folks
For those that used to get work done a Precision Driveline in Whitby. Although Richard did retire and close up shop, he is still doing some work from home. I had him rebuild my front drive shaft. Awesome work and awesome pricing.
He is out in Burketon Station and has a shop behind his house.
IF you need his contact info, shoot me a message.
Well still waiting on the return of the front axle. you can see by the pics it has a slight bend. Still lots to do, tcase is back so it can go in. Also while the axle is out, it will be real easy to change the engine oil!

Back in the garage today.
Finished off the bottom half of the winch.
Cleaned up the underside of the new floor and painted it.
Replaced the drain and fill plugs in the Tcase.
Put the new yoke for the adams drive shaft on the tcase.
Put the new transmission mount together.
So I had to do some straightening of the front bumper, it had pushed against the winch brake stopping it. I had to overbend it by 1 inch just to get it to move 1/16th
The PA bottle jack did the job. Winch fits back in again with no interference. the first pic shows it before I removed the winch. That wasn't going to turn no matter what I did. lol @nd pic is after.

Well after putting it in the press and bending 2", the fawker relaxed back where it was. I think I will start looking elsewhere for the bend. I guess it could be the "C's or possible the knuckles.
Well nice day out there today, so out to the garage I went. Tcase is back in, replaced that stupid little plastic tcase bushing while I was in there, drained the transmission. Need to refill it.
Replaced the transmission mount, it was fawked, and buttoned everything back up.
Now just waiting on the front axle, C's are bent, so need to replace those, get some reid racing knuckles and RCV's.

Also picked up this little beauty, spare Rubicon TCase, going to Moab. So want to ensure we have everything possible.
