    Axle help- bent D44

So I have a rubi 44 that is sleeved and the C's have gussets.
The axle tubes appear to bent down, but it is extremely hard to take a measurement on anything. Anyone have any suggestions?
1 side is bent slightly more than the other side.
Put the axle in a press, took what measurements we could. We did try bending the axle in the opposite direction, but it just flexed back to where is was. We bent it 2" past where it started.

It is most likely going to be the long side tube that is bent near the center section. I would be weary of bending it back the other way as you could crack the casting. You could try that way again by pouring a shit ton of heat into the tube. But I would not try that again with heat. You could also add a gusset while loaded in place on the press that you could thoroughly tack in place. The only other option would be to re-tube it. I don't foresee any other good options.

I remember now that they sleeved it at least. Can’t find the video. There are others.

Well, we have nailed it down to bent C's, so will be getting replacements to fix that nonsense and some Reid racing knuckles.

nope, they keep moving the date out, so went with Rancho, obviously not my first choice, but will see how they stand up.

Had some leaking from the rosebud welds on the diff and around the area where the tube meets the diff. When they drilled out the rosebuds, we found no penetration. It may have been like that when the tubes were originally installed, wasn't my axle when that was done. I should mention much of this work is being done by Ian Kelly at RNJ in Cobourg. Awesome work!
