Well I finally pulled it out of the garage from its winter storage, washed it then took all the parts that have to still be installed and put them in it so its ready for next weeks build/repair day.

so where will you fit the groceries?

Just curious Adam, why go through all the work and possible cost on doing that to the factory pie plate as opposed to just adding a stronger diff cover with a higher fill hole such as a Riddler?
P.S. Sorry for asking about a 2009 post but I'm new to the site and kinda shy.
You never truly know your limits until you exceed them....
LOL, I thought you said I could use Rubi for groceries since you are going to use your XJ offroad...
And as for the cover it was a last minute thing, when it was all put together ready to go we insalled the cover and when we went to fill it took less than a liter.
So the guy that was helping with it is an amazing fabricator he wanted to do this.
And it is still working well, I may order a new cover soon as I did a good knock on it last year.
Just ordered this and will see what it look like when it comes in.
Dam you and your peir pressure.....
Yes sir!!!
Yesterdays progress.
Back on the road with just a few little things to try and work on.

Wow Adam, thats quite a bit of clearence, guess you don't have to worry about getting high centered on the shopping carts now.![]()
Dam, I hope so, I hate trying to pull them out from under the jeep.![]()
Still need to take the drivers door latch out and either repair it or replace it.
Also never got to the new front brake line set up, I need to order a new prop valve so this may wait untill after the jamboree.
And I did not get any of the lights mounted or wired.
Well thought I would update this with a list of parts that are in the works for the next month or so.
I am getting a "new to me" ARB bull bar front bumper with warn m8000 off a good friend, as well as a ford 8.8 with 4.10's already under an XJ, so its a matter of removing and bolting it under my jeep. The diff is currently open, but thanks to a couple great friends on this site I am in the process of securing a Lockright for this diff as well.
Once the parts start comming in I will update again.
This is a very nice and clean cherokee.... Nicely done!
Well the bumper/winch are off and now in my garage awaiting prep and paint.
Current plan is to install this on the may 5th weekend.
So now its strip the bumper and paint it, sand blast and paint the brackets, and replace bolts as required.
Well with a days worth of work with some good friends (Peebs, Jeff, Brian and Al) the bumper and winch are on, a long with a crap load of wiring. There is still a lot of wiring to be done, but the ugly stuff is done.
Before
The Peebs and Al working on a broken bolt in the winch.
The guys working away on the heep
And the finished front end.
Once the inside section is done I will post up pics of that.
the jeep is looking good Adam

Sweet pics man. Hay are your front turn signals sprayed tint stuff or actual aftermarket tint lenses?
TIME TO KICK ASS AND CHEW BUBBLE GUM
Thanks, and ya they are just spray tinted.
Banging and clunking eh, must be a unibody thing LOL
Glad to see things are working as they should more or less
